Whitsel Custom Homes is a general contracting business that specializes in new home construction. We build in and around the Hastings Nebraska area. The houses we build range from starter homes to luxury homes and we give each home that we build the special attention it deserves. Most of our jobs originate from referrals or word of mouth. Whitsel Custom Homes has a total of 4 employees. Earl Whitsel is the owner and coordinates and supervises all of the jobs. Earl also prepares all of the estimates. Earl has 20+ years experience building new homes. Bev is the book keeper as well as web page designer. Our craftsmen include: Dave who has 10+ years experience building homes; and Jeff who has 10+ years experience building homes.
As the general contractor we frame the house, install windows, siding, tile, cabinets,
finish trim and the concrete work. Some of the work we hire subcontractors for includes foundation, electrical, plumbing, heating and air, painting, roofing, brick, stone work, sheet rock installation and finish, installation of carpets, and guttering. We only hire experienced and qualified licensed professionals. The people we hire are dependable and also do quality work. We never cut corners at our customers' expense. We also use only quality long-lasting building materials.
